Wahoo, date night! Once a month at our church a group of teenagers and some parents put on date night for the rest of us. We watch a short video clip on The Beatitudes and Marriage. Then we are sent out with a sheet of questions pertaining to the video for a two hour date. Actually getting to the questions is optional. Relational time is key. Tonight we ate at the Village Cafe: my favorite!!! We had a generous gift certificate to the Village Cafe, so we were pretty stoked. I had butternut squash ravioli in a sage brown butter sauce and a Caesar salad. Yum! We had some great conversation too. The kids had a wonderful time running around the gym with the other kiddos. I'm so thankful for opportunities like this.
