Handel's Messiah

Tonight I went out on a very special date with my three guys. It was wonderful! Nothing like the glorious truths of the Gospel being shouted from the rooftops. It was absolutely beautiful! I just loved standing for the "Hallelujah Chorus" with everyone! I felt like I was standing with the choirs of heaven. And then the end. . . .

"Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing. 13. . . . Blessing, and honour, glory and power, be unto Him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.      Amen."

Because that is the end of it all, isn't it? Standing among the crowds, hearing such a heavenly choir sing those words . . . That's what we were created to do. And that's why it feels exactly right. That is what my heart was meant to sing. . .

"Then I looked and heard the voice of many angels, numbering thousands upon thousands, and ten thousand times ten thousand. They encircled the throne and the living creatures and the elders. 12 In a loud voice they were saying:
“Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain,
to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength
and honor and glory and praise!”
13 Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, saying:
“To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb
be praise and honor and glory and power,
for ever and ever!”
