Afternoon at the Beach

G-pa and D are up here for a few days. Sunday we had a restful, relaxing afternoon at the lake. A nice picnic and then a couple hours watching the kids play at the beach. It is oh-so-nice to get some leisure in. 

Mr. Mace was up a good part of the night last night, so he and I stayed home from the adventures abroad in Wisconsin today. I look forward to hearing about the day from everyone when they get home. 

In the summertime here we get phenomenal sunsets. I never can seem to capture them very well. Here's the lazy purplish view from one vantage point the other night. What a treat!
