One of my favorite things about mothering is watching my children involved in imaginative play. Alone or with each other. It reminds me that each one of them is such a precious gift. It reminds me they are children not little adults. It gives me a glimpse into how they see life. I am so grateful for those glimpses. Diamonds in a regular day.
A close second to watching them imaginatively play is see the evidence of it later. It reminds me of who I am caring for each day. Those evidences are glimpses into another world. The world of a child's imagination. What a fantastic place!
I am grateful for those precious moments.
