Joy to the world, the Lord is come!

Merry Christmas, loved ones!!

The baby Jesus, along with the angel and star arrived Christmas Eve.

I have to say one of my best gifts this season has been the loving support and companionship of my caring husband. He's been so encouraging with his words and actions. Reminding me how much all of this preparation means to our family. What a guy! He's entertained the kiddos in the aisle of Hobby Lobby while I bustle around gathering items on my list. He's driven them around the parking lots of Michaels and TJ Maxx while I fetch gifts and preparatory items. He's stayed up past his bedtime constructing gifts together with me. He's used his garage tools to make cuts for me.  Christmas Eve we decked out the table for Christmas breakfast together. Life just wouldn't be the same without this guy! I am so very thankful for such as a man as he! 

Again, more partnership with my hubby! I forgot to say that for all the big meals we are side by side in the kitchen. He made the lemon poppy seed pancakes, eggs, and sausage. I did the salad. 

Basil yelling with surprise and excitement over his "Gems Around the World" set. He's had a thing for gems and precious stones for months. It was such a serendipitous find!

Sage's interests lately have been spying and tricks of all kinds. Mostly magic tricks. 

One of the best has been this spy scope. 

Our sirloin roast with potatoes turned out so tasty!

We traded the antiphon house out for the stable Christmas Day.
