We had quite the fun-filled birthday weekend around these parts. I think the boys had a birthday celebration full of memories. On Friday the boys had a light day of learning and then decorated their "dirt cake." They chose the cake. Friday afternoon and evening they had a couple boys over. They played games, Legos, explored outside, and enjoyed some man food.
Saturday evening Doug took the three oldest kids skiing. By himself! It was a smashing success I heard.
Sunday we all went to church, came home to finish packing, and headed out to the Kalahari resort and waterpark. We snagged a few pictures Sunday in the little kid play area before hitting the big slides. Mace and I stayed for an hour before heading back to the room for a nap. I napped too! Sunday night we treated ourselves to Noodles and Company for dinner. Yum.
Monday morning we hit the waterpark again. This time I was able to play with the big kids while Mace napped in Doug's arms. It felt so good for me to get some play time in! Monday night we came back home, ate some pizza and watched a super kid flick on Netflix. "Ace Wonder." Perfect kid detective show. We polished the weekend off with some create-your-own sundaes.

Fantastic birthday twins! there a few funnies...the look on Maces face reminds me of the devilish smile of his Dad as a little guy. Looks like it went very well! Nice extended celebration at the water park and also great times at home!!!!
