Happy Friday!

Friday again on this fast moving train. We had a nice week seeing our homeschool friends on Tuesday and again on Thursday.

I think we are going to be adventurous and try to bring the whole clan to a candlelight ski and snowshoe this weekend. We just need to dig out all the gear. I'll let you know how it goes.

Lent is coming up in a week and a half. I've just begun thinking of how I can prepare for a quiet, prayerful Lenten season for myself and for our family. I have a several ideas but I need to pull it all together very soon. I requested a book for myself from the library called Holiness for Housewives (and other working women). And finally this year I think I'll get my act together enough to plant an Easter Garden. Looking forward to it! Are you planning something for the season?

Nutmeg got her first real Lego set this Christmas. Now she feels more like "one of the gang" when the boys play Legos at the table. I like making Lego storage boxes for the kids. Super helpful. I paint a wooden box and then superglue a Lego platform to the top.
