Doug is back home from another trip to St. Louis. This week he is home from work for a little Staycation. Here are a few pictures from our outing yesterday. We rented a double kayak for a short while to give the kids a chance to try it out. I just love it. So peaceful. It is a nice way to spend time alone or quality time with one child at a time. It's a good upper body workout too. Perhaps some day we can pick up this hobby.
Afterwards we took an enjoying meander on a nearby trail. More to come, God willing.

Wow! What a fun day you all had! I actually had to go through them more than once to see who was who with the kids! Kayaking ...I have done that on Lake Pleasant! I wonder where Mace was during the Kayaking. I do love the pic of Mace looking so lovingly at his oldest brother...he sure looks up to Basil!
