Hello There!!
Happy weekend to ya'll!
This weekend "tall" Grandma is visiting us. We thought it would be nice to have a visit together before the snow flies and the temps drop. Plus, Grandma would get to see the kids all dressed up. We were a bit nervous because it was rainy all day but it cleared up just as we left to drive into town. It actually turned out to be quite mild. Much warmer than last year. Our downtown neighborhoods are super fun to visit on October 31st. Very fun small town life.
We never buy new costumes. We usually just use what we having lying around the house. This year we did a little thrift store shopping. Nutmeg found the "Jesse" from Toy Story costume. We were all thrilled. She was just was so adorable every day when she wore it around the house. Red hair and everything just like Jesse. Same personality too. And then in typical unpredictable kid-fashion she decides today that she doesn't want to be Jesse anymore. Ooh the drama, let me tell you. We all let her know that we were really looking forward to seeing her be Jesse and then let her be. And she changed her mind. We were all so happy! She really was adorable.
I had a hard time with the lighting in the house and couldn't get a good picture. So I'm just putting them all on here and maybe you'll get the idea. I didn't include Mace because he slept right up until the last minute.

Well, it is I, tall Grandma! I see I am in one picture as a witch! The Baraboo way to trick or Treat is quite charming and all the people are so nice~!! Doug says to me...Mom, everyone knows who I am, so do not say anything...OK....???? Now I just got back from Wi ..and I have a zillion emails and such. Halloween did happen and the rain went away, and it was great in Baraboo !! I read one email from my dear friend Ede, who said to tell you that she loves the blog...I will tell her she can comment at the bottom each time. For those who check the comments (if you do not, you are missing a lot) Max has turned into a big boy and talks alot! Today , before I left, he called me...GRANDMA with no prompting at all!! He just said it when we were downstairs and he was taking a huge blue blanket out to drag upstairs!! A male that talks a lot before his second birthday is pretty amazing! His siblings do adore him as everyone does!!! He is also a charmer..
