Basil: Hi! I’m
Basil and I’m going to tell you about some of my year. This summer we went to the Lodi swimming
pool. This year we also built the tree
house! It has monkey bars and a trap
door in the floor! Christmas this year
was great. Thank you for all the
presents. I had a great year this year.
Nutmeg: I turned six this year. For Christmas I went to Grandma’s
house. I got a bead craft thing. I also got a boogie board and a Lego
lighthouse set. We did a piƱata and I got a bunch of candy. We put up a tree
this year. We also got a blizzard of snow.
Mace: This was a
big year for me. At my age one year makes a huge difference. Last year I was
barely walking and now I’m running circles around everyone (especially Dad at
church) and jumping off furniture. Mom says I’m a bruiser. This summer “tall”
Grandma bought be a Fischer Price basketball hoop! She knew what she was doing!
“Beeball” (basketball) is my passion! I can shoot like I’ve been doing it for
years. I say “hit, one!” when I’m ready to shoot! I also like to have everyone
reads me lots of books. My other favorite toys are all my hard plastic animals
and my new wooden barn. I’m very good at making animals noises. My favorite breakfasts are pancakes and
oatmeal. I out eat my brothers on pancake day and will eat 6 or 7 pancakes! I
also like to eat cereal (just like Daddy) and oranges and apples. I’m trying
out lots of new words these days and even bust out a “no” just to see what Dad
and Mom will say. Dad says I can start skiing next year. I love you. If you
come visit me, you will have to take me on a walk to go see the horses next
door. Happy New Year!
