Two of my monkeys say "Good Morning Everyone!!"
What are we up to?
January is almost over! Just exercising, praying, reading, learning, eating, visiting, fixing (or trying to fix). Just generally doing the normal "stuff" of life.
- Sage saw an oral surgeon this week. Looks like he'll be having a minor surgery to have some teeth removed. He has some cysts under four of his teeth. Pray everything goes smoothly, with no complications!
- My neck has been improving. Not so much pain. I do need to continue on working on the flexibility and strength in my neck.
- The older boys are off to a camp retreat this weekend.
- Hubs is off to a retreat too.
- I took an impromptu "retreat" myself the other night. Mom needed out of the house. I got some much needed quiet prayer time. More of that, I say!
- We are indeed in the depths of winter. Cold and snow. I kinda like it. Seasons are my thing, a season for everything. And speaking of seasons, you know we love eating in season. Here's a winter meal we are having this week that we really like. Simple, healthy, tasty!
- We finished up Prince Caspian and now Voyage of the Dawn Treader is on the way to our library! We are loving these audio story times in the car. And since we will doing some driving when our homeschool group starts up again soon, we should really rock and roll through the whole series.
- The Story of a Family was basically life-changing for me. Now I'm onto another powerful classic, Lay Siege to Heaven.
Alrighty, gotta go. Food and lessons and beautiful children await!
Google would not let me in (new computer) and refuses to recognize me...Love the pictures and for Nutmeg I say the song All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth... Prayers for Luke...lots of cold packs of ice and frozen juice cubes..Dd is an expert at it...
