We put on a very laid-back party for ourselves tonight to finish off a unit of history. 300 through 500 A.D. We threw together some ideas for decorations, costumes, food, and games. Twas some good quality family time. I think we'll try doing it for all our history units. Maybe we'll get fancier in the future.

The kids put on a neat little Lego play about Clovis, the King of the Franks: his conversion experience (in the midst of war) and subsequent baptism. |
