Big brother is taking Mace out for a birthday sled. Yesterday was actually his birthday but we are pretending/celebrating his birthday today. He doesn't actually understand it all anyhow. He'll get it though, I'm sure, when we wakes up from his nap to cake, balloons, birthday cake, and presents. Today we are supposed to get 7-10 inches of snow, so we figured that I'd get the weekly groceries last night and then celebrate tonight. Doug and I were joking around yesterday how our life revolves around our grocery schedule. *eyeroll at ourselves*
So sweet . . . I'm watching out the window at these two as I type this up. Two grey bodies, one big, one little. Both in the same sled. Down the hill. Weeeee! Then they both roll over, stumble to get up. And . . . up the hill again. Priceless.

ReplyDeleteBig bro has been good to him since the day he was brought home from the hospital . I remember how he took care of Mace the day I came to visit for Christmas that year. The first picture shown is forever!! Mace in his first "real" outfit! He has really grown leaps and bounds!!
