Gabe and Luke joined our homeschool group's cross country team this year. We've been asking them about it every year but this was the year we finally jumped in!! The practices were 45 minutes from our house, so most of the time the boys trained on their own. What troopers, huh? Then we did lots of travelling on the weekends for meets. What a great season!!
I got so excited cheering at the meets that I usually forgot to take pictures and videos. Fortunately we had a team picture day that was combined with a smaller race, so I have a few pictures from an alumni who took the pictures.
The last picture is from the Wisconsin Homeschool Cross Country Championships. I think we had nine teams that day. Our boys team got second place! Our boys both had a solid day. Luke was way ahead of boys at this last race that he was running with in the beginning of the season. I'm so proud of what they accomplished this season. Many good lessons learned.
