November/December Catch-Up

 Hello loved ones,

Here are some moments from the last couple months.

Emily turned 12!! Big sleepover with ice skating, movie, treats, tacos, a little sleep, and lots of giggles.

Present from a big brother.

For Thanksgiving we rented a house in the mountains in Colorado with family from Colorado, Oregon, Minnesota, and Montana. While in Colorado I introduced our family to Jerusalem Restaurant in Denver. Oh yeah!! Yummmm!!!

Max and Emily started basketball.

We went to Bozeman for a swim meet, got a Christmas tree, celebrated Saint Nicholas and Saint Lucy.

Max turned eight mid-December. He wanted chocolate beet cake for dessert. He had two friends over to decorate gingerbread houses, play Legos, and go sledding (it snowed just in time for his birthday).

I taught class at our co-op and then ran around getting ready for Christmas. This house is super fun to decorate for Christmas. I knew it would be the first time we viewed this house. I successfully surprised several people with unexpected Christmas presents: what fun!! Such fun and laughing when they opened their gifts.

Fishing gear made locally.

Peeking around like a little kid.

Bird house from Grandma.

The complete shock on this one was hilarious. How did you know?!

I only asked for little gifts; why this big box for me?!

Oh, and the decorating, food, greenery walk turned pinecone fight, and other fun.
