Quote

This morning I just ran across a quote on Pinterest.

"Have nothing in your house which you do not believe to be useful, or believe to be beautiful." William Morris.

I remember reading this particular quote in a little shop in Stockholm, Wisconsin when the boys were not even a year old. I've always remembered the gist of it and have applied the maxim to my own home-crafting. It is an art, right? Home-crafting. It's official; its a new phrase (about 10 seconds old).

And it just occurred to me that this phrase could also be applied to what comes out of my mouth. May all words that pass through my lips either be useful or have some element of beauty to them. Hmm. I'll have to think on that one.
