Never A Dull Moment

Hello there!!

I'm still here. Just want ya'll to know I'm coming back one of these days. Just keeping busy. Honestly, I don't think it's more than usual. Just the usual circus train.  Somehow I'll fit writing here back into my daily rhythms. I think. You know, maybe the onset of summer has something to do with it. Those outdoor activities keeping us going. Maybe other small details as well. As I write this at the kitchen counter waiting for the chicken to cook, Mace is pushing at a book at me. This boy has a new passion for books that has recently ignited.  Many, many times a day he is demanding to read a book together. Fortunately I do have some help in that department.

Anyhow, I thought I'd share a few funny moments from today. Just now I just uttered the words "No, pet worms must stay outside" three times.  Now yes, the fact that I repeated the sentence three times in a row is indicative on what we need to work on around here. Ahem. Cough. But ya know, I had to find it humorous that such conversations are the norm.

This morning I had a little situation where I wished I had the time to grab a camera.  I opted for safety instead. But picture this (really, it was so hilarious AND cute): little Mace on top of the kitchen table, buck naked with a fork in his hand.  On the end of the fork is a cube of butter which he wolfing down like its a giant piece of chocolate. This kid!! I guess his appetite requires a bigger breakfast!

It's a crazy life. Alrighty, back to dinner. Copycat Chipotle Burrito Bowls on for tonight. Mr.Husband is out mowing the lawn on his SAWET zero turn from his dad. Love ya'll!!
